AAA Honors the Middletown, RI Police Department

AAA Southern New England Traffic Safety Awards took place recently at the Marriott Downtown Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island. The Middletown Police Department was presented with a 2013 Silver Award of Excellence in recognition of their outstanding achievements in traffic safety. These efforts have enabled their community to enjoy 10 consecutive years without a pedestrian fatality. Shown (from left) at the award ceremony are Middletown Police Officer Brett McKinnon, AAA Southern New England President & CEO, Mark Shaw, Officer Mike Marusca and Chief Anthony Pesare. Officer McKinnon was also honored as a 2013 AAA Traffic Safety Hero.
