Middlefield Children's Center, a school for preschool children at 390 Main Street, is hosting their annual community barbecue this weekend.
The school is open to children ages 3-5 and they provide a child-centered environment where they promote learning through imaginative play, socialization, exploration and discovery. The school is currently enrolling students in all programs for the 2012-2013 school year as well as enrollment for their summer programs.
The MCC Community annual picnic will take place at Peckham Park in Middlefield on Saturday from 4-7 p.m. All members of the community are invited to attend.
Entertainment includes a bouncy house, magic by Christopher, a karate demonstration from Middlefield Karate, a fire truck, live music by Lindsay Artkop and much more.
Food will be for sale at the Lions Club pavillion. Hot dogs, hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, salads, desserts and drinks will all be available.
The school will also be offering a variety of raffles that include a 42-inch HD TV, and iPod, one girl's bike, one boy's bike, both 20 inches; plus a creative assortment of raffle baskets with themes such as gardening, the beach, arts and crafts, ice cream, family fun and more.
