Cops: Highly Intoxicated Man Caught Driving With Loaded Gun

Middletown Police incident reports through May 4.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On May 4, Amina K. Cooper, 30, of Rogers Road was involved in a child custody dispute on Plaza Drive with the father of her child. She admitted hitting Richard T. Cockrell, 32, and throwing his GPS in the sink. He had a scratch on his face and she had one on her neck. Cooper told police Cockrell grabbed her and threw her on the ground. They were both given May 5 court dates.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On May 4, Daniel LePage of Long Hill Road, 49, was involved in a physical fight with his wife over the remote control. He said she became physical first. She said his wife and he were arguing over money when LePage grabbed her by the arm and pushed and pulled her. LePage admitted he left the house when she called police because he didn’t want to be arrested. He was given a May 5 court date.

PROBATION VIOLATION — On May 4, Victor Kromer, 39, of Washington Street turned himself into police for an outstanding warrant. He was given a May 18 court date.

EVADING RESPONSIBILITY, OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT LICENSE — ON May 5, Tianna T. Hardy, 19, of Stoneycrest drive was involved in an evading car accident with her mother’s car in the Super Stop & Shop parking lot. Two witnesses saw her hit a car next to hers and identified the driver and her license plate. She left the scene and told police she was afraid to stay. She was given a May 13 court date.

SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR  — Pedro J. Maya, 44, of Main Street was walking on Main Street near Green Street on May 3 with an active warrant. He was given a May 4 court date.

CARRYING FIREARM WHILE UNDER INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUG, POSSESSION UNDER 4 OZ MARIJUANA — On April 30, Andrew J. Sansevero, 24, of Bella Drive was a passenger in a routine motor vehicle stop and allowed police to search his car. He failed to disclose he had a loaded .40 caliber Glock 23 pistol and had a strong scent of alcohol on his breath. His speech was slurred and eyes glossy. He had a valid pistol permit and the gun was registered. Eleven grams of marijuana was found on the passenger seat floor. His blood alcohol level was .265.  He was given a May 11 court date.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, CRIMINAL VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER — On

April 28, Kenneth M. Ford, 23, of Summer Hill Road turned himself in on an outstanding warrant from March 5 on Washington Street. He was given an April 29 court date.

SECOND-DEGREE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF — On April 28, Michael Snipes, 46, of Grand Street was at the scene of a vandalism complaint. The caller said she saw Snipes kick the door to her apartment building. It was split down the middle the entire length. The door knobs and lock fell off completely. She said the cost to repair it would be $975. The witness said Snipes was angry she was hanging out with a friend instead of him. He said he didn’t kick the door but closed it kind of hard and it accidently broke. He was given a May 12 court date.
